		<description>Thanks for the great article.  One note:  You CAN look for work in Japan on a tourist visa.  No problem.  just don&#039;t actually work.  Most people do in fact come on tourist visas for interviews and other job hunting. They then secure their sponsorship and then apply for their visas.  Then, ofcourse, they start working.  So yes, you can go for job interviews as long as you do not actually WORK.</description>
