But its relevance to this particular site is a bit questionable, as both prosper and lendingclub require their investors to be residents of specific states within the United States.

		<description>Have you ever heard of a credit union?  It is the same as P2P but without the individual risk.  Credit unions are non-profit financial cooperatives.  They are owned by their members (customers).  Let&#039;s boycott the big banks and come together as united savers and borrowers.  

There are credit unions all over the world.  Those with an address in the U.S. can reference the following website to find a credit union near you:
