Don't be frightened off by all the propaganda of drug cartels, swine flu, etc., I've been here 40 years now and have yet to see a shootout. of course like anyplace there are good and bad neighborhoods. This is a good reson to have someone who knows the territory. I know when the snow flies and the temperature drops to 40 below, visions of sunny beaches fill everyones heads like sugar plums at Christmas. Howeve, I live in the Central Highlands and I've never seen a freeze. Properties cheaper, foods cheaper and if I yearn for a beach I can hop on a bus and be at one within 5 hours or so. check my blog at http://mexicomystic.wordpress.com .
