Thanks for the info, I am now living in Amsterdam for like 4 months.

My real estate agent was Park Real Estate, I must say their service was great; we've been viewing over 20 apartments plus he negotiated a really good deal for me.

Oh, and some more advice: I really recommend the Oud-Zuid-area, great place to live for expats with a car.

I would love to rent an apartment in Amsterdam for 4 month. Can you tell me if it is possible to rent for a shorter period? My budget is 1100 euro.

As an person living in Amsterdam I have the feeling this article is degrading for the quality of the content I expect from the Escape Artist magazine to begin with. The whole article informs you wrongly about the price market. You could slash the prices Mr. Nasser al Kamouchi mentions by half if you do not use highly inflated commercial services such as perfecthousing.nl You could find on craigslist and other expatriate friendly website honest prices in Amsterdam. It seems this article looks and feel as only to plug the website Mr. N. al K. is affiliated with.
Escape Artist editor: Please keep your quality level high as you started with few years back. It is getting more and more commercial oriented without real content and interest for the readers of your magazine.
