Just wanted to say that this is a well written article, and I enjoyed it. It's too bad the NWO has such a strangle-hold on the US, I'd rather fight for freedom here than run, but corporate culture has become intertwined with American culture to the point that there is no getting rid of one without the other.

If you look through the blogs about Mexico and sift through the real estate brokers and read the personal blog questions, you will find many people who would like to escape but dont have a clue as to what it involves.
One of the biggest barriers is that most people arent flexible enough to adapt to a different culture. Anyone with mucho dinero can live anywhere until the money runs out.
Ive had people write and ask me how can I live in Mexico? But what they have in mind and their hearts is to live in a place that will be converted into little America, which isnt really escaping at all.
And theres many factors involved, are you traveling alone? With a wife and family? That makes it even more complex..
Now Im starting to see a new kind of immigrant, involuntary exiles, usually American women who have married Foreigners in the U.S. that have been deported. The only way they can be with loved ones is to follow them into a new country and a new culture. Some are resilient and are starting to assimilate, others feel lost and betrayed by their country, truly refugees.
And every once in awhile I run into people that feel that America has lost its way. Can they survive in a strange land? We will see who shall remain strong and who will collapse.
My advice is to read and investigate every possible corner before making a move.

This report is right, we are getting a lot of American citizens buying homes and villas in the Dominican Republic and it means they are discovering better places to live such as the Caribbean islands. Small beach side towns such as Cabarete and Sosua are getting a lot of newcomers from all over the world, many now expats that preferred to live in this ever sunny island. Interesting to read about the reasons, good to point out that this country welcomes everyone and the Dominican people are very friendly.

I renounced my US citizenship and now live in Anguilla. I have been fascinated by this economic mess and written up some things that I found interesting. I agree that hyperinflation seem where the US is headed.

Get real.
How many readers out there have tried to relocate to another country?
Hey, as one who has tried it, I have news for you.
Bottom line is that you should not expect to be accommodated unless you bring significant amounts of capital to invest locally.

If you're just an "average" US type....then don't expect to be treated any differently than someone from Turkey,Lebanon,China,Sri Lanka, etc. You know....other dysfunctional countries.

Relatively unpopulated countries...Australia, New Zealand, Chile, Panama don't really need masses coming to their shores. If you do come, you'll be expected to jump thru so many hoops that you'll wonder why you ever, ever thought that leaving the USA was a good idea.

Far,Far better to stay home and fight this corrupt.rigged system.
TAKE BACK YOUR COUNTRY FROM THE CORRUPT ELITE RULING IT.

I cannot help but think of the wisdom of the Germans who left before it was too late in the 1930s. Recently I read the journal of a German jurist whose thoughts during those times parallels mine now in the US.

I have lived over seas in Thailand, Mexico, and Spain. I do love this country, but the quality of life was far better even though or maybe because? there were less material comforts. People had time for each other and were not working two jobs and exhausted when coming home after work as they are here.

There is a better and saner way of living. Being a slave to the system is no life.

United States is Washington D C, 26 USC, America is the 50 states. Why expat from America when you expat from the United States. Americans are of the 50 states, U.S. citizens are of the United States & it's states ( Guam, Puerto Rico & etc). When you went to the govn. schools they lied to you.

"Not so long ago the United States was the most admired and respected country in the world, and held this status for years".

That is completely wrong; we in the rest of the world never had that high an opinion of the USA. That conceit by the US about itself is at the root of all the rest of the problems it has that this article brings out, because it stopped people there from realising that there were any problems.

food riots, etc are coming as the US$ crashes. My answer is to work for conversion to gold-backed money in the US (the world will follow). See my book 'Monetary Revolution -USA' on amazon.com or parts 1 and 2 in the left margin of my site

history shows all weath controlled by small groups, the family and friends of the king to modern times of the corporation. Nothing new under the sun only timing the changing tides for those who are aware. Many see China as the rising tide, but have not decided what form it will take.

If you check out the book 'The Beast of Jekkyl Island' it talks all about how the Rockefellers and other wealthy families got together to devise a plan for the Federal Reserve. Funny enough, Alan Greenspan before he was head of the Reserve was a strong advocate against the reserve and what it stood for because of its lack of government backing/control. The only way they could shut him up was to offer him the position with many benefits. Who says they can't buy someone off? It's a sad state of affairs. I am glad I got out while I could!
Good article, thanks for sharing it so others can see the truth.

There's a lot of gloom and doom in your article and certainly substantiated. However, you fail to give any idea of where these havens not controlled by US economics/corporations are? Where do you suggest for "escaping" and are they safe places where political unrest is unlikely?

Dear Dave,
You convey, eloquently and subtly, thoughts on the minds of increasing numbers of people, who have not sold out to complacency or to Mammon.

Precisely because of such heightened awareness, in the US and elsewhere - too many people are seeing the You Tube Truth - organizers of Act I, are hastening efforts to implement Act II. After all, leaders in history have been hanged for much less.

What seems to lie just ahead – months, not years - will not only be a continuation of manufactured incidents that fattened the waistline of the beast during “its century,” but, apparently, the fulfillment of biblical prophecy as revealed to St. John (Revelation) and Ezra (Second Book).

Indeed, the prospect is not rosy at ground zero. The set-up boy, Iran, will be blamed for the demise of the great city Babylon, “justifying” nuclear retaliation, which, in turn, will draw the ire of the dragons of Arabia, triggering the dreadful exchange.

Hats off to the web-site owners for the courage to include your fresh, tropical breeze of thought amidst the doldrums of a stagnant mass-media world.
